There are actually volcanoes in other worlds, not only on Earth. Even our moon has volcanoes. Planets from our solar system have volcanoes too. These include Mars and Venus. The volcanoes resemble those on Earth.

MOON

The moon has volcanoes which are as old as 3, 500, 000, 000 yrs old but on Earth, they are only 100, 000 years old. Also, the moon's volcanoes are definitely smaller than those on our planet.

MARS

Volcanoes on Mars are also much older than those on Earth. They are about 3 billion to 3.5 billion years old. The planet Mars has the most number of shield volcanoes. Only 20 volcanoes are named and 5 of these are giant shield volcanoes.

VENUS

Volcanoes on Venus are very common, and there may be 100,000 or even over 1,000,000 volcanoes there. Thus, Venus has the most number of volcanoes in the planets of the solar system.
