The Different Types of Lava

There are different types of lava depending on its texture once it has solidified.

The different types of lava are:

• hellu lava, a smooth surface, lava that has gushed and twisted itself into smooth "ropes".

• apal lava, melted rock that has moved slowly, resulting in a much  rougher surface.
